      A Level results 2017

Girls at Sutton High School GDST celebrated another year of outstanding A Level success in August 2017, with 60% of all grades at A*–A. Over 36% of girls achieved at least straight A*s and As, while 18% achieved straight A*s.

The results mean that girls have secured places at leading universities across the country, with 80% of Sutton High students continuing their academic careers at their first choice Russell Group universities.

Olivia Kumar has not only won a place to read History at the University of Cambridge, but will also take up a prestigious Choral Scholarship.

Susie Ilves, Nandini Roy and 2016 leaver Jessica Neden will be going on to study Medicine at St George’s University of London, Imperial College London and the University of Nottingham respectively. Between the three of them, the girls had received a total of 11 offers to study Medicine, in a subject where students usually hope to receive one or two offers each.
