Business Administrator Apprenticeship

  • 30 hours per week all year round
  • Apprenticeship minimum hourly rate subject to age: 18-20 = £6.56 per hour, 21-24 = £8.36 per hour, 25+ = £8.91 per hour
  • Candidate will be expected to attend college once per month for training
  • 30 days holiday per annum plus bank holidays

Key Tasks

  • Processing invoices and expenses and dealing with queries
  • Sort and log daily post for the Finance Department
  • Petty cash reconciliations
  • Assist with spread sheets for school activities and services
  • Update of the school inventory
  • Maintain departmental files
  • Reception and Reprographics cover including first aid

Support and Administration

  • Work as part of the support team in order to fulfil the team’s objective to provide seamless, courteous, and efficient support to staff, pupils, parents and visitors: This will involve administrative/general office cover (including but not limited to simple data entry, word processing, photocopying, filing), as required

Training and Development

  • Attend INSET training courses or other training to update and extend skills as required by the school
  • Regularly review own practices, set personal targets and take responsibility for own self-development

Salary and Hours
