Director of Sport

  • Contract: Permanent

  • Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 pa (dependent on experience)

Sutton High School offers the opportunity for a proven Teacher of PE to further develop their leadership skills, managing the sports department and ensuring high standards of teaching and learning are delivered, across the 3-18 age range.

 As Director of Sport, you will develop and lead on the school’s strategic plan for sport and contribute to wider school policies, ensuring resources are managed effectively and members of the department are empowered, whilst promoting excellence in teaching and learning, ensuring all pupils develop their potential and are equipped for life beyond school.

 We welcome applications from candidates with excellent knowledge of the sports curriculum and demonstrable leadership skills, including leading and managing people and working towards a common goal. Experience of organising or participating in extra-curricular activities is essential.
