Sutton High School are currently seeking an experienced Learning Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis, supporting a named senior school pupil in receipt of an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP).
Providing individual attention, reassurance and help, you will encourage the pupil to achieve their full potential, ensuring they are appropriately supported in their learning be it academic, practical, behavioural or social.
With a recognised TA qualification i.e. NVQ, NNEB, City & Guilds, BTEC, or equivalent relevant experience in an educational setting, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to listen, empathise and build strong, positive relationships with children and staff alike.
