Science Technician

  • 20 hours per week, however, there is an opportunity to take on general science technician work which would raise the hours to 26 per week.

  • The hours are spread over 5 days every week

  • 35 weeks per year during the school term

  • Actual Salary £10,874.17 (£24,831 FTE)

Applications are invited for the position of Science Technician at Sutton High School to provide an efficient support service for the Science teaching staff and pupils.

You will support the safe delivery of experiments and practical activities within Science lessons in order to optimise teaching and learning. This will include preparing equipment, assisting pupils in lessons and preparing displays.

If you have good, basic background knowledge of Science and are well organised, able to approach work methodically, prioritise and meet deadlines we would be delighted to hear from you. Some experience in Biology would be desirable.
