Music Competition

11 October 2019

On Tuesday evening, we held the final of our annual Music Competition in The Lees Hall.  Miss Chloe Reid, Assistant Director of Music from Godolphin and Latymer School in Hammersmith, was invited in as guest adjudicator.

During the previous week, over 60 girls from across the Senior School performed, and the strongest performances were put through to the final.  Miss Reid had a very difficult job to decide winners in each of the various categories – she was very impressed by the very high quality of performances on display and gave invaluable feedback to each girl about their performances.  All girls did superbly well but particular congratulations must go to Year 12 student, Ailsa, who was awarded the title of this year’s ‘Sutton High School Young Musician of the Year’.
