Earlier this month, girls from across all years competed in House Drama, each of the scripts written by the girls themselves. This years theme was ‘fairy tales’, and the girls wrote fabulous scripts, we saw mashups of well known fairy tales such as Snow White and Cinderella. Touching on prevalent modern issues whilst simultaneously intertwining witty one liners that had their audiences laughing and thinking all at once. We were lucky enough to have Ellie Claire King as adjudicator, and after a very tough decision she announced the rankings. 1st place was awarded to PMK (Phyllis Mudford-King), 2nd place was Dora Black, 3rd was Henrietta Stanley and in 4th, Frances West. Alongside this, there was a ‘star performer’ awarded to Year 8, Guila, from Dora Black. Her efforts, confidence and charm made her an obvious choice for star performer – Well done Guila!
