Last Thursday, we were very lucky to hear Sutton High students perform in a South Asian lunchtime concert. Bhoomika performed a Carnatic song, Harithra played a Carnatic violin piece and Tharani sang a song from a Tamil film. To complete the concert, Anarghya in Year 12 performed her own composition, an impressive piece for Veena as part of her EPQ. It was a beautiful event which celebrated many different facets of South Asian music.
