Sutton High form groups have been spreading Christmas cheer across the borough by collecting donations for our local charity partner, Home Start Sutton. Together, pupils have created beautifully decorated Christmas Gift Boxes, each one filled with thoughtful treats and essential items for local families who may be finding this time of year especially challenging.
Form groups have taken real ownership of the project – choosing items, organising collections and carefully packing and decorating each box to make it feel special and personal. From cosy toiletries and sweets to small festive surprises, every contribution reflects the kindness and generosity of our school community.
The girls have thoroughly enjoyed working together on this initiative and have been keenly aware of the difference their efforts will make. The finished boxes will be delivered to families across Sutton in the run-up to Christmas, offering a little extra joy and support at a time when it is most needed.
This project is a powerful example of our “We Are Sutton” ethos in action – pupils looking beyond themselves, serving others and strengthening our links with the local community. We are incredibly proud of their compassion, teamwork and commitment to making a positive impact this Christmas.
