Our Year 11 students have been out on work experience, our official week was last week, but some have also been out/are going out, at other times. They have gone to a wide range of companies/organisations including, in no particular order…
Bocketts Farm, Cakes by Robin, the Jarvis Centre Children’s Clinic Hub, Sutton High Prep, Sutton High, PwC, Specsavers, the Study Prep, Sheen Lane Dental, Bupa Dental, CACI, Polka Theatre, Grayling, Hyundai Financial, Precision Chiropractic, Tadworth Primary School, Tony Gee, IID Architects, Warren Mead Primary, Wey Family Practice, Collingwood School, Atkins, Bardahl Europe, Foster & Partners, The Fire Station Café, Numans, Amentum, Stanley Park Junior School, PPL, Addelshaw Goddard, Cheam Common Primary Academy, Nuffield Health
For one student, as her day in the office was cancelled, she instead had a supervised zoom meeting with a journalist and was given some research to do. Another student had the opportunity to try a real F1 car simulator, and another had an article she wrote about her work experience at PPL, included in the company magazine.
We check in with employers who are hosting students during our prescribed week to see how things are going and feedback has included,

Students are encouraged to complete a work experience journal before, during and after their placement, and for those returning to our sixth form, there will be a debrief session in the Autumn term – we look forward to hearing all about what they have been up to!
