Learning does not stop at the classroom door. Our Independent Learning and Supra-Curricular resources are designed to help pupils explore their subjects more deeply, follow their interests and develop as curious, independent learners.
Use the links below to explore recommendations and opportunities for each subject. These may include wider reading, podcasts, websites, documentaries, talks, competitions, activities and other resources that take learning beyond the curriculum.
Pupils are encouraged to use these resources to follow an area that interests them, discover something new or challenge themselves to go further. There is no expectation to complete everything – the aim is to provide inspiration and starting points for further exploration.
Supra-curricular learning can also help pupils make connections between subjects, develop their own academic interests and begin to explore possible pathways for future study and careers.
