On Friday 15th May, the U11 tennis players competed in the Northampton GDST Rally against seven GDST schools from across the country. Each student played both a doubles and a singles match against every school, and after 14 highly competitive matches, the team finished second in the tournament, earning well-deserved medals and certificates. Every match demonstrated an incredibly high level of skill, determination, and sportsmanship, and the students were fantastic representatives of Sutton High School. Congratulations to Maya M, Harriet M, Lakshmi S and Layla S.
Also on Friday 15th May, the U11 cricket team travelled to Northampton High School to compete in the GDST Cricket Rally. The team, made up of a mixture of Year 5 and Year 6 students, competed in six matches and produced some fantastic displays of batting, bowling, and fielding against strong opposition. Throughout the day, the team showed great positivity, consistently supporting one another and demonstrating true resilience until the very end.
