Sutton High Students attend the GDST Film Festival

5 Sutton High students and their parents attended the GDST Film Festival at Notting Hill and Ealing, having had their submissions shortlisted by the judging panel. Some incredible work was shown and Alice B in Year 7 won Best Actor in the Years 7-9 category. The other students involved were Rosanna N, Bhoomika M, Olivia C, all in Year 7 and Ava D in Year 9.

The theme for this years Short Film Competition was “Flip the Script: A Different Perspective”. There were nearly 40 entries from 12 GDST schools nationwide.

The Wobbling

What inspired my film?
I was really inspired by the film company “Atomic Monster” (having not seeing their films) who make films similar to The Wobbling they are really unique!

Most memorable moment while filming?
My most memorable moment was either having to be covered in stuffed animals to make a fake toy store or getting to throw my mum on the floor!

What I most enjoyed about the film festival?
I most enjoyed seeing my favourite film of the selection win best overall film in the older years! I was very happy for them.
