This year Sutton High School is celebrating another outstanding year of A-level and GCSE results, with:
• Over 90% of students securing their first-choice university
• 86% achieving A-B grades*, with a 100% pass rate
• 57% of all grades at A or A* — double the national average
• 22.8% of grades at A* — compared to just 9% nationally
Our GCSE Class of 2025 has shattered national benchmarks:
• Over a quarter of all grades at Grade 9 (five times the national level)
• Two-thirds of grades at A/A (9–7)*
• 100% A/A (9/8)* in Music, French, and German
• Five pupils achieved straight Grade 9s across all subjects
Following the new ISI Framework 2023 inspection, Sutton High School was awarded a rare distinction of “Significant Strength” for its data-driven, pupil-focused approach to teaching and curriculum design.
