At the end of last year, a few students in Key Stage 3 participated in an Energy Sparks audit of the school. The way in which we use, capture and record energy was considered, and a full report (68 pages) was written to understand Sutton’s behaviours and practices. Students, including Hannah and Poppy (Year 9), are using a thermal heat detector in the picture below. This author does not really understand the science, but understands the behaviour and the need to consider ways we can all reduce our energy consumption
