Pastoral Support – Year 9

All pupils are members of a form, each form has two tutors. The form meets at 11.30 every day for either assembly or tutor time. Each year group is led by a Head of Year. The Head of Year and tutors have responsibility for the wellbeing of all pupils.
The Heads of Year are managed by the Directors of Wellbeing, led by the Deputy Head: Pastoral.
Tutors are your first point of contact with school, for parents too. We ask that parents do not contact individual subject teachers, but any necessary communication with your subject teachers will be led via the Tutor or Head of Year. For parents, email is generally the best way to get in touch with tutors and the Head
of Year. Please be aware that when staff are teaching they do not have access to their email and will reply as soon as they can. Email will be answered within 24
hours, not including the weekend or holidays. If a parental concern is urgent, please phone the main school reception.
