This half term sees over 100 pupils from Years 8 to 13 embark on an extraordinary series of residential trips across Europe — travelling to Athens (Year 10&11), Salamanca (Year 8&9) and Geneva (Sixth Form) for unforgettable learning adventures that brought their classroom studies vividly to life.

From exploring the ancient wonders of Greece, to immersing themselves in Spanish language and culture, to uncovering the science and diplomacy behind international organisations in Switzerland, each group returned with new knowledge, confidence and inspiration. These trips offered far more than sightseeing — they provided rich opportunities for pupils to develop independence, curiosity and resilience, while forging deeper friendships and shared memories that will last long beyond their time at school.

Such experiences capture the essence of what makes Sutton High so special: a school where learning extends far beyond the classroom walls, and where every girl is encouraged to see herself as a global citizen.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the dedicated staff who so generously give their time, energy and expertise to make these trips possible. Their commitment ensures that our pupils not only see the world, but also understand their place within it — curious, confident, and ready to make their mark.
