Autumn Reading Update – Welcome Year 7!

A warm welcome to all parents, especially those joining us for the first time in Year 7. This term our students have taken part in their Library Induction and been introduced to the BookBuzz Reading Programme.
 
 BookBuzz – A Gift of Reading
Each Year 7 student is invited to choose a book as a personal gift from the senior school library, supporting both reading for pleasure and the English Year 7 Reading Project.

⏰ Deadline: Wednesday 1 October  (to ensure delivery before half term)
✨ Please also indicate if a Large Print edition is required.
The book is theirs to keep, and afterwards it may be swapped with friends or donated to the library.

📌 Age-Appropriate Books To help guide students in choosing age-appropriate books, the library uses categories based on suitability: 14+ and 16+. Students automatically have access to books in their current age category, but you can permit for your daughter to borrow books from the next category above.👉 [Consent Form Link]

Important: Students must log in with their school email and password to complete the form. Parents cannot complete the form on their behalf. Similarly, all library platforms (Sora & Catalogue) are accessed using the student’s school login.
