What a fantastic day of sport and house spirit we had last week! Pupils from Years 7 to 10 threw themselves into a jam-packed schedule of activities, with the support and enthusiasm of our brilliant Year 12 helpers. The sun shone as everyone got stuck into a wide range of competitions, including Dodgeball, Benchball, Volleyball, Cricket, Rounders, and even Swimming!
Throughout the day, there was no shortage of laughter, teamwork, determination, and a healthy dose of competitive spirit as pupils worked together to earn points for their houses. It was wonderful to see pupils trying new activities, encouraging their teammates, and showing off their skills across the board.
The day finished with the highly anticipated House Cheer Competition, where each house put on an energetic and creative performance, showing off their choreography and house pride. Our esteemed judges – Miss Lee, Miss Martin, and Mrs Dawson had the tough task of picking a winner, but in the end, PMK took the crown with their lively and polished routine!
A huge well done to everyone who took part and helped to make it such a brilliant day. It was a wonderful celebration of sport, friendship, teamwork, and house spirit!
The sun was shining brightly as our Prep pupils from Year 1 to Year 6 headed to Sutton Cricket Club for their eagerly awaited Sports Day! Pupils showed fantastic enthusiasm, energy, and determination as they rotated around a range of events, including long-distance running, sprinting, throwing, and jumping. There were cheers, high-fives, and plenty of smiles as pupils pushed themselves to do their very best, demonstrating wonderful teamwork and resilience throughout the day.
Meanwhile, our Nursery and Reception pupils stayed cool back at school, where they enjoyed their very own Mini Sports Day. With their parents cheering from the sidelines, they took part in a series of fun races and activities, making for a joyful and memorable morning for our youngest sports stars!
The day finished on a high with the always-popular Teacher House Relay, which provided plenty of entertainment (and a few surprise sprint finishes!) to round off the morning.
It was a fantastic morning of sunshine, excitement, and sporting spirit—well done to all our pupils for their incredible efforts and positive attitudes!
