This year’s House Dance, a much-loved annual event, brought flower garlands, fake mustaches, and serious moves to the stage with an iconic ABBA theme. All four houses – Henrietta Stanley, Dora Black, PMK, and Frances West – delivered dazzling performance, with just two points separating first and second place, the external adjudicator had an incredibly tough decision to make. The final result was:
1st Place – Frances West (with ‘Waterloo’)
2nd Place – Dora Black (with ‘Mamma Mia’)
3rd Place – PMK (with ‘Voulez-Vous’)
4th Place – Henrietta Stanley (with ‘Does Your Mother Know’)
First and foremost, a huge thank you and congratulations to every dancer who took to the stage – you brought creativity, commitment, and contagious energy to every performance. Your smiles lit up the room, and your passion made the evening truly unforgettable.
A special shoutout of course, to Frances West, who danced their way to victory with a show-stopping routine that captured the spirit of the night.
We’re also incredibly grateful to our external adjudicator, Gemma Bowden, from ‘Hidden Gems’ Theatre School, for taking on the tough task of judging such high-calibre performances, and to Mr Essenhigh, whose enthusiasm and dedication make all of our beloved House events possible.
And of course, thank you to everyone who cheered from the sidelines—your posters, pom-poms, and house pride created an electric atmosphere that made this year’s House Dance one to remember!
