In our recent Kaleidoscope lessons, we completed a marketing project where we worked in teams to invent our own Ben & Jerry’s ice cream flavour and presented it to a visiting marketing team. In groups of two to four, we created original flavours, calculated costs, and considered how eco-friendly our packaging could be.
We researched pricing and sustainability, learning how brands decide final costs and how materials such as bamboo and paper can be used instead of plastic. Although we could not create the ice cream itself, the project was enjoyable and helped us develop our creativity, teamwork, and presentation skills.
All teams produced unique and imaginative ideas with irresistible flavours, but the winning group, Tangy Twins, stood out for their confident presentation, clear pricing, and well-considered choices including their flavour of lemon and lime.
