Our girls do better, because they feel better.
At Sutton High we cherish individuality. You will be celebrated and supported for who you are every step of the way. We have a strong culture of girls supporting girls in every aspect of school life and beyond; our girls want each other to succeed.
Unique and personal support
Tutor groups are small, friendly and close-knit. They are made up of both Year 12 and Year 13 students, so you can share experiences at key times and form strong bonds across year groups.
You will have regular one-to-one tutorials with your form tutor and they will be available for you every day to offer both academic and pastoral support. Your form tutor will come to understand you exceptionally well, and this insight means that Sutton High UCAS references are completely unique and personal.
Form tutors are handpicked to work at Sixth Form level, and they are experts in identifying and solving the issues faced by girls at this stage of their lives.
Your wellbeing is at the heart of what we do. We enrol all girls in the ground-breaking GDST Positive Project to help to promote good mental health. We also have an in-house school counsellor and medical manager on hand whenever you need them.
We're a friendly bunch
We hold regular social events, such as movie screenings and murder mystery events, to ensure that everyone finds their place within the group.
The newly refurbished Sixth Form Centre is a buzzing hive of activity and our friendly and approachable Head of Sixth Form, Mrs Harvey, is based at the heart of it, ensuring that there is always someone to talk to over a cup of tea.
Scholarships and Bursaries available
We have Sixth Form Scholarships available in Art, Drama, Music and Sport, as well as Academic Scholarships and Bursaries worth up to 100% of fees.
